About Action Fiction

Action Fiction was formed in 2019 during the development of Monsters of Murka. Our goal is to create items, creatures, games, and entire worlds which bring our flavor of fun to your game table, and to do it in a way that’s respectful, inclusive, clever, and imaginative. We love to tell stories with our publications, and we make games for the kind of gamer who loves a tall tale and a good laugh.
We feel that it’s our responsibility to set a high standard and a good example of how to be an indie publisher in the tabletop games space, and we take this responsibility very seriously, for everything from our approach to writing about cultures we aren’t a part of, to ensuring that we source art in a way that’s respectful and considerate of the artists we work with.
